What is the Warrior Training Program?

The Warrior Training Program is an exclusive OTAC program designed to challenge your muscular strength and endurance, stamina and dynamic flexibility.

There are 2 tracks for participants:

•    Body  Weight Challenge 500 (participants performs a total of 500 repetitions to complete the challenge)
•    Body  Weight  Challenge 1000  (participants performs a total of 1000 repetitions to complete the challenge) OTAC

We will offer Small Group Training classes that will be specific to the Warrior Training Challenge in addition to current Small Group Training offerings. The Warrior Training classes will teach you the 18 exercises included in the challenge, and how to execute each one properly.

We encourage you to participate in a variety of our Small Group offerings – not just the Warrior Training classes, as each class will increase your strength, endurance and flexibility. You will have the option to participate in:

•  TRX Sessions
•  Circuit Training Sessions
•  Pilates Total Body Sessions
•  Power Yoga
•  Warrior Training Sessions

In addition to the Small Group Training offerings, there will be several classes on the Group Fitness schedule that will be Warrior Training classes – these classes are available at no additional fee, and will focus on the Body Weight Challenge exercises–helping you prepare.

We will offer testing weeks throughout the year to give you an opportunity to develop a baseline, re-test, record your times, identify areas that need to be improved upon and discover exercises where you excel–all prepping you for the Ultimate Warrior Week in December!

In December 2012, OTAC will host the Ultimate Warrior Challenge Week. This is where you will have an opportunity to test out one last time. Each participant that has made overall improvements from his/her baseline testing will be awarded an official Warrior t-shirt.

Special Ultimate Warrior Prizes (an Ultimate Warrior t-shirt and 10-session punch card) will also be awarded to the following:

•  1st place male/female – from both tracks
•  Most Improved 500 (male or female)
•  Most Improved 1000 (male or female)

Winners are determined by:

• 1st Place – Fastest times while executing all 18 exercises in *proper form
• Most Improved – Most improvements made overall from date of first test

Official Rules/Details:

•   Must be 16 years or older to participate
•   Must be an active member of OTAC
•   Must purchase a 10-session punch card to be enrolled

Save 20% on your first 10-session Small Group Training punch card purchased on or before March 7!

You will have the following opportunities to test:

Week of April 16-21st
Week of June 18-22nd
Week of September 24-30th
Week of December 10th– Ultimate Warrior Week!

You may test one time during each testing week provided you have an active punch card.

Note: in order to be eligible for the final challenge (week of December 10) you must have tested a minimum of one time prior to the
final challenge week and you must have an active punch card.

•   No refunds will be issued for Small Group Training punch cards for those opting to withdraw from the program
•   Punch cards expire 12-weeks from date of purchase
