Train With Susan Koonts
Susan began her teaching career at Old Town Athletic Club leading Centergy classes, which combine yoga and Pilates. When the club expanded to include apparatus Pilates classes offerings, Susan was inspired to earn her Pilates Instructor Certification and begin teaching.
Through the years, Susan has earned numerous program certifications and certifications of continuing education, through the Physical Mind and Pilates Method Alliance, including: Pilates Mat, Physical Mind Apparatus, Pilates Method Alliance National Certification, Pilates on the Stability Ball, Advanced Reformer, Pilates and the Spine, Advanced Cadillac, Master Teachers and Reformer Pilates, Pilates for the Leg and Hip, Pilates Circuit Training, Biomechanics of Pilates and Precision Pilates Mat–to name a few.
“It brings me great joy to see clients leaving their workouts feeling even better than when they arrived. I love helping my clients improve their core strength and posture which ultimately impacts their back, knees, shoulders, neck and feet. Pilates has the potential to change a persons entire quality of life–I am honored to play a role in helping people discover this.”
Whether Pilates is recommended by a doctor or physical therapist, or sprouted by curiosity, Susan’s contagious admiration for her career reflects on all.
